Special Quilt Raffle
to be Held at the 2010 Conference

This is the "full" picture which shows the overall view.

Take a look at the spectacular quilt that will be raffled at the Omni Hotel during the 2010 Conference!

Details of the quilt are:
-  77" wide X 96" long
- 100% cotton
- Estimated retail value of
   $500.00
- Chances will be $5.00 each,
   or 5 chances for $20.00

This is a "collage" of several pictures that show what the fabrics look like.

This bluebonnet quilt was made by a Dallas County Master Gardener who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. After months of being unable to participate in anything with her local Master Gardener group, or even being in her garden, she was longing to see something beautiful. The quilt became her central focus and as her health would allow, she would work on it. Completion of this quilt has been her source of motivation.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS, COLLECTORS,
CRAFTSPEOPLE AND AUTHORS
IN THE STATE OF TEXAS

Does your Master Gardener Association have a product that you would like to promote to other Master Gardeners in Texas but you just did not have a way to do so? Or perhaps you or someone in your organization has a “budding” talent that needs to be encouraged. If so, let us help you get the word out about that unique item (book, photograph, painting, metalwork object, etc.) and in the process you can help support the “Silent Auction” that will be held at this year's 2010 TMGA Conference hosted by Dallas County Master Gardeners.
Anything of interest can be donated and we will merchandise it for you. Donated items can be delivered during business hours or shipped directly to the following address:

Dallas County Master Gardener Association, Inc.
Texas AgriLife Extension Service
10056 Marsh Lane, Suite B-101
Dallas, TX  75229-6071
Attention: Silent Auction

All items should be received by March 1, 2010 .
Please include an estimated value and a brief description of your item.

Don't miss out on this once-a-year opportunity to promote your group or your talent to hundreds of Master Gardeners from across the entire state. And while you are thinking about it, be sure to visit the 2010 TMGA Conference website at www.2010tmgaconference.org to get all the information you need and the registration form for the April 8-10, 2010 Conference.
