April, 2010 |
Dear
The countdown is in full swing now for our Annual Meeting in “Big D” (or Las Colinas to be accurate). Dallas County Master Gardeners are to be commended for what looks like a wonderful conference. I'm looking forward to seeing many of you there.
Your Outreach Committee had a great meeting in March. I would like to thank Ila Jean and Jon Carothers for hosting us. The committee did a good job last year gathering information from associations around the state regarding demographics and opinions. This meeting was to discuss where we go next. The consensus of the committee was to increase the personal interaction of the committee and the Executive Committee with the TMGA membership by visiting the local associations. You will be hearing more about these plans as soon as we bring them before your Board of Directors during the annual meeting in Dallas. Again, if you have any comments, just send me an email.
See you next week! Lonnie
